Australia Road Trip, Day Fourteen – Driving to Kings Canyon

Day fourteen on our Australia Road trip to Uluru/Ayers Rock…

Wednesday

After a busy two days at Uluru we were ready to leave by Wednesday. Uluru has been one of the most amazing places Tom and I have ever visited, and we are both so happy that we’ve actually got the chance to see it.

No trip to the red centre would be complete without hiking Kings Canyon, so we were up early on Wednesday morning to move to our next campsite, The Kings Canyon Resort Campground. It took around four to five hours to drive to from Uluru, and although I’ve read a lot of bad reviews on the site – it actually wasn’t that bad.

The rest of the afternoon was spent putting up our tents, and relaxing before a big hike around Kings Canyon the next day.
