Travelling by bus to Malacca from Kuala Lumpur – Day Twenty Seven, Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia).
Thursday 12th July
Tom and I were pretty tired on Thursday morning, we decided to stay up and watch the England football match till nearly 4am so getting up at 9am was a particularly difficult task. But, we had no choice since we had to grab breakfast and get our bags packed before heading out for our bus at 11am.
Both of us were definitely feeling the late night, and spent most of the morning barely able to talk to each other haha! We just about managed to pull ourselves together in time to get everything packed and some breakfast in our bellies before getting in Grab Car to Terminal Bersepadu Selatan ready for our 12:30pm bus.
Booking the bus was pretty easy, we just went through easybook.com, and for around $10/£5 for the both of us, we could get to Malacca which is a 2.5 hour ride with KKKL bus company.
We were both pretty worried that we’d get sick on the bus, but with the help of a motion sickness tablet each, and we actually found the journey to be really easy going. I even managed to edit nearly all of Kuala Lumpur pictures on my laptop throughout the journey.
By mid-afternoon we’d arrived in at our hotel ‘The Explorer Hotel‘, with ease – it’s such a good feeling to have a good travel day rather than the bad one we had on the way to Kuala Lumpur.
For the rest of the afternoon, we wandered around Malacca a little bit before relaxing in the hotel.
